Every year, hundreds of students receive scholarships from universities, colleges, and other organizations. This year, we’re proud to announce the winners of the 2023 scholarship award!
Meet the Winners
This year, the 2023 scholarship award was given to five students from across the United States. All of the winners have demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, as well as strong dedication to their chosen fields of study. Meet the five winners of the 2023 scholarship award:
Karen Smith

Karen Smith is a senior at Stanford University majoring in Computer Science. She is an active member of the Computer Science Club, where she has served as the club treasurer for the past two years. Karen is an active volunteer with the Kids Coding Initiative, where she teaches coding classes to elementary school students. She has also been involved with the Stanford Women in Computer Science group for the past three years. Karen plans to use her scholarship award to help fund her tuition.
James Johnson
James Johnson is a junior at the University of Michigan studying Electrical Engineering. He is an active member of the Michigan Engineering Robotics Club and the Michigan Solar Car Team. James is also involved in the University’s research program, where he is focusing on developing solar-powered vehicles. He has already received several awards for his research and plans to use his scholarship award to help fund his research.
Anne Williams

Anne Williams is a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Political Science. She is an active member of the UC Berkeley Political Science Club and the Berkeley Political Science Association. Anne is also a volunteer with the Berkeley Student Food Collective, where she helps to provide food to students in need. She plans to use her scholarship award to help fund her tuition and living expenses.
Jasmine Jones
Jasmine Jones is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Business. She is a member of the UT Entrepreneurship Club and an active member of the UT Women in Business Club. Jasmine is also a volunteer with the UT Student Leadership Program, where she helps to mentor other students. She plans to use her scholarship award to help fund her tuition and living expenses.
John Brown
John Brown is a sophomore at Harvard University majoring in Economics. He is an active member of the Harvard Undergraduate Economics Association and the Harvard Economics Student Council. John is also a volunteer with the Harvard Food Pantry, where he helps to provide food to students in need. He plans to use his scholarship award to help fund his tuition and living expenses.
The Scholarship Award
The 2023 scholarship award was created to recognize outstanding students and provide them with the financial assistance they need to continue their studies. The award consists of a $5,000 scholarship for each of the five winners. The scholarship award is renewable for up to four years, depending on the student’s academic success. The scholarship award is sponsored by a private donor and is administered by the university.
