Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the JMU Centennial Scholarship, students must meet certain criteria. These criteria include: first-time freshman enrollment at JMU, a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA from high school, and an ACT composite score of no less than 28 or an SAT composite score of no less than 1310. Additionally, students must demonstrate leadership abilities and a commitment to service. Finally, applicants must also submit an essay demonstrating how they will make a positive impact at JMU.

Application Process
Applicants must submit their application for the JMU Centennial Scholarship by the deadline of March 1, 2023. The application includes an official transcript, a copy of the student's ACT or SAT scores, a copy of the student's resume, and the essay. Once the application is submitted, JMU will review the applications and select a handful of students for an interview. After the interviews, JMU will select the final scholarship recipients.
